Today we will arrive in St. John's, Newfoundland to begin an amazing adventure. We will be met by our ground transportation on our air conditioned washroom-equipped luxury motor coach. Voyage to Cape Spear, the most easterly point of land in North America, where Whales, Icebergs and Seabirds may be seen in season.

Visit the most easterly point of land in North America commonly referred to as the "Far East of the Western World". See the first manned Lighthouse and learn the history of its unique design of the 17th century. Visit the coastal communities; Blackhead Bay, Maddox Cove, and Petty Harbour.

Marine Option in Bay Bulls
Voyage to the ecological reserve of Witless Bay where you may view Humpback and Minke whales in season. Also watch over 500,000 seabirds that frequent the islands of Green Island, Gull Island, and Great Island in season.

Ferry Ride across the 'Tickle" where Whales, Dolphins, and Tuna frequently frolick on the sea. Spectacular views resemble the coastline of Ireland. Commonly referred to as our "Emerald Isle".
Experience what is known to be the world's largest underground submarine Iron Ore Mine of its time. Visit Wabana the town that has portrayed the history of Iron Ore Mining for over 100 years in scenic Conception Bay. Enjoy our local mid day meal. Light House Visit and Museum Tour as well as an optional Underground Tour.

Visit historic Portugal Cove, scenic St. Phillips, St. Thomas, Paradise, Duffs Bluff, over and onto Topsail Beach, Manuels River Interpretation Centre and Geological wonders in Villa Nova. Enjoy a local mid day meal and Evening Dinner with local Entertainment.

Travel through time as you visit the quaint communities of Holyrood, Conception Harbour and Brigus. Visit Cupids, the first British Colony in North America. Visit the Southern Shore, through historic Waterford Valley, Irish Town Rd. BayBulls, Witless Bay, St. Michaels, Burn't Cove, Lamanche, Brigus South, Cape Broyle, Ferryland Museum, Archeological Dig and 17th Century Kitchen Experience. Aquafort, Fermeuse, and Renews. In season, you may see Whales, Icebergs, Seals, Moose and the most southern herd of Caribou in the Northern Hemisphere. Enjoy our local mid day meal and evening Dinner with local Entertainment.
Newfoundland Soiree and Schreech In Ceremony
And tonight a special thrill - we will take part in a favorite tradition that prevails on the island of Newfoundland - the famous Newfoundland Soiree and Screech In ceremony which is commonly referred to as a Scoff and a Scuff. Included is a three course traditional meal and a night cap of the infamous Newfoundland Screech Rum and opportunity to kiss a cod fish following the repetition of a semi-dialect recitation. The reward of this ritual is a golden certificate naming the holder as An Honorary Newfoundlander. Evening Dinner included with local entertainment.
